Personally, I have seen many Couples living on a cruise ship in their 50s because cruising is cheaper than living on Land. Especially I found the guest from Australia, New Zealand, The USA, Canada, etc. People Lives Permanently on Cruise Ships Because it’s cheaper than housing.

Many Cruise companies offer very cheap price for cruising, If the guest is connected with the company for a long time then the cruise company provide a very attractive price structure to the guest.

The Guest does not need to worry about food, Beverage, accommodation, etc. If they stay onboard but someone staying on land in their 50s then they must worry about their food, accommodation, medical expenses, electricity bill, water bill, etc.

Everyone wants to know when will cruise ships sail again and many of them have lots of confusion about “will Cruise Resume in 2021” or not. Simply It’s not so easy to start sailing again without proper guidelines and without conditions. Cruise Industry may resume 100% sailing at the end of 2021 or begging of 2022. Few ships can start sailing in June 2021 as per their announcement.

They do have conditional sailing but still, they are not ready to sail in water because of many guidelines given by CDC, Now they do have a Vaccination passport also If someone thinking about cruising incoming day.

It’s very hard to say “will cruises resume in 2021” because many shipping company canceling their Itinereray due to another face of COVID.

Canada also have restriction to sail in Canadian water until February 2022 as per transport Minister of Canada. We hope that they may change their restriction in the future and let’s allow cruise companies to sail at the end of 2021 but It looks impossible.

Norwegian Cruise Line paused their all sailing through May 2021, They may start sailing in June 2021. They may extend their pause in the future because they also announced that they are going to repatriate all non-essential crew members by March-April 2021.

The Carnival Cruise Line resuming sailing with three ships from the United State like Florida, Taxes, and Miami. These ships are Carnival Vista, Carnival Breeze, and Carnival Horizon, the Carnival Vista resuming sailing from 3rd July 2021. The Carnival Breeze resumes sailing from15th July 2021 and The Carnival Horizon starts sailing from 4th July 2021.

They still have some uncertainty in a plan to resume these voyages, Guests booked on these sailings who wish to make alternate summer vacation plans may cancel without penalty by May 31, 2021, and receive a full refund.

Carnival Drydock Schedule 2021

The Carnival Cruise line sends their three ships for dry dock and they may return to service by September 2021. These ships are Carnival Magic, Carnival Paradise, and Carnival Valor.

They did not mention any date to resume on service but yes they are expecting to resume on service on October 10, 2021. The management mentioned this date to their onboard crew members.

If everything go well then they may resume on service on October 2021 with full flesh.

Updated:-“The Norwegian cruise line going to resume sailing from outside of United State with their three ships that are Norwegian Jade, Norwegian Joy, and Norwegian Gem. Norwegian Jade will resume sailing from July 25, 2021, from their homeport Athens, Greece. The Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Gem will do Caribbean Itineraries in the month of August 2021”.

Norwegian cruise line officials announced all United States sailing until April 30, 2021, but for sure they will extend their sailing date again. Because they announced to send back home all non-essential crew members by March-end or April 2021.

They will use their two big ship to repatriate their all Asian( Indian, Indonesian, and Philippines) crew members. The Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Escape will be used for repatriating non-essential crew members.

Two months before Norwegian Escape came to India to get around more than 1000 crew members for service but now they will come to put back all non-essential crew members.

So It’s very hard to say that when they will resume service again, and this is the big factor they are trying to do cost controlling.

The more crew will be on board, the more money they will have to pay as wages. If they work at least 8 to 9 hours a day then they will have to pay at least the basics of their salary.

Officially Norwegian Cruise Line suspended their all U.S Sailing through April, 2021.

And now today 18th Feb 2021 the NCL announced to pause their all sailing until May 30, 2021. So we believe they will not going to resume service before May. They are expecting to resume in May but It may extend again.

CDC announced, Mask is mandatory for cruise terminals and cruise ships in the United State and this will have to follow by all the company’s crew members and guests.

As per new guidance, Everyone will have to wear a mask while traveling to an airport, bus stops, railways, terminals, subway stations, etc. Which will help to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
