[NEW UPDATE] CARNIVAL ANNOUNCES EXTENSION OF PAUSE IN OPERATION

Carnival resuming again on June 27, 2020

Before on March 13, 2020-Carnival Cruise Line announced an immediate pausing operations. They said all the ships at sea will continue their voyage and return to their home ports as scheduled.

Carnival announced that from March 14, 2020 to April 9, 2020 will be passed our service, across its fleet of ships based in North America and will resume them on Friday, April 10.

This COVID-19 situation that has now turned into a global pandemic. We have implemented higher levels of screening, monitoring and sanitation protocol to protect the health and safety of our guest and crew.

On March 30, 2020-All north America sailings through to May 11, 2020. As COVID-19 continues to Impact global health and commerce. They said we are extremely sorry to extend our pause in our operations until May 11, 2020.

As COVID-19 situation is a global pandemic and we continue to work with governments and port officials on our operations. Here we are disappointed to announce the need to cancel some additional cruises.

A INDIAN ASSISTANT SECURITY OFFICER DEATH ON-BOARD DUE TO COVID-19

A assistant security officer of Costa Cruise line Mr. Andrew Fernandes joined Costa Favolosa last year April 2019 as a assistant security officer. The Costa Favolosa is one of the largest and oldest ship which was sailing from Caribbean to Dominican republic in February 2020 and he was on board.

Few passengers on Board found positive for Covid-19. Some of the crew members too found the symptoms and Andrew Fernandes one of them. The Medical team isolate him for few days on board and tested twice for Covid-19 which came negative but the situation was getting worst day by day.

Finally on March 29 Mr. Andrew Fernandes along with few crew members was disembark from the ship by US Coast Guard. After disembarkation the Coast Guard took him to the hospital in Miami where tested positive of Covid-19.

And next day the doctor put him on ventilator support, Mr Andrew was 48 of his journey and he was living in Mumbai, India. And he has four kids two twins girl 9 year old and two twins boys five years old. While talking to his wife on phone said to take care of herself and kids.

The Doctors of Larkin Community Hopital said to his elder sister he may need to be transfer in Jackson Hospital in Miami, USA because he had pneumonia and the lung is also infected. However no beds was available in the Jackson Hospital as of now.

March 30, 2020 Maria Fernandes spoke last with her husband Mr. Andrew Fernndes. He said to his wife i have no idea what is happening in the hospital since Sunday (29 march). I have no option other then praying to god day and night.

He also share that may be the hospitals in USA is lacking somewhere, He said in the hospitals they do not have enough ventilators to safe the life of peoples here.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN USE THREE SHIPS TO SEND CREW HOME

RCCL DECIDED TO SEND THEIR ALL CREW MEMBERS HOME

“Richard D.Fain” The Chairman and CEO of the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has decided to send home to their lovely crew members. The Royal Caribbean Management notified all the ship who’s currently sailing in the Australia to send home all crew members.

The Royal Caribbean finally decided to send three ships out of five ships from Australia to the Philippines and Indonesia. They said three ships out of five will be embark soon from Australia to the Philippines, Indonesia, china and India. They will carry almost 2600 crew members from five Royal Caribbean Ships which are currently at anchor in the Australia.

The management decided to sail Spectrum of the seas, Ovation of the seas and Voyager of the seas to the Philippine, Indonesia and China. For Indian crew members they will try to send by charter flight from Indonesia to the India.

They will transfer almost 600 crew members including Indonesia, Indian, Chinese and the Philippines from Radiance of the seas to Spectrum of the seas. The Spectrum of the seas will reach Bali (Indonesia) on Thursday, April 16, 2020 Where 261 crew member will disembark.

After Bali the Spectrum of the seas will move on for Manila, Philippines. They will reach there on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 to disembark 577 Philippines crew members. And the final stop will be Shanghai where Spectrum of the Seas will reach on May 11,2020 to disembark 522 Chinese crew members.

Celebrity Solstice of the seas transfer their crew to Ovation and Voyager of the seas

Celebrity Solstice crew members will be transferred to Ovation of the seas and Voyager of the seas. They will transfer 182 Indonesian, 204 Indian and 13 Chinese crew from Celebrity Solstice of the Seas . The rest of 382 Philippines will be transfer to Voyager of the Seas.

Ovation of the Seas will reach on Sunday, April 19, 2020 to disembark 239 Indonesian Crew members. Voyager of the Seas will receive 13 Chinese and 880 Philippines crew from Ovation of the Seas. The ship will reach Manila, Philippines on expected date April 25, 2020 to disembark around 1250 Philippines crew members.

And at last they will try to arrange a charter flight for 13 Chinese crew members and 204 Indian crew members. The RCCL believe your safety is our number one priority both on and off our ships.
